The heart of the system: the headend
All signals come together in the headend: it receives the channels via satellite and antenna, processes them and feeds them into the building’s network – for example as a digital cable signal (DVB-C). The TVs in the rooms then receive the channels directly, without a receiver of their own.
This lets you decide centrally which channels your guests see, in which order they appear and how the system is extended when you add a new wing.
Channels for international guests
Besides the Austrian and German channels via Astra 19.2° East, free-to-air channels from other satellite positions can be added – for guests from other countries, for example. We put together the channel list with you.

Frequently asked questions
Does every TV in the rooms need a receiver?
No. The headend converts the channels so that standard TVs can receive them directly. No additional device is needed in the rooms.
Can the existing cabling be used?
Usually, yes. The headend feeds into the existing coaxial network. We measure the cables beforehand and only replace what affects the quality.
Can the channels be changed later?
Yes, the channel selection and order are set in the headend and can be adjusted or extended as needed.
Is it also worthwhile for guesthouses and holiday apartments?
Yes. Even with just a few rooms, a central system ensures consistent reception and easy operation. The size of the headend depends on the number of channels and outlets.
